This individual must have 3-5 years pf Microsoft platform security experience and 5+ years experience working system administration/engineering. Bachelor of Science degree in information Systems or acceptable experience is required. Excellent communication and documentation sills preferred. MCSE, CISSP, Security + or equivalent experience preferred. Candidate must have a strong understanding of Office support software for example, Visio, Microsoft office, Project and Lotus Notes.

The main responsibilities of this position will focus on the Microsoft platform. The ideal candidate must have an in depth understanding and subject matter expertise with Operating Systems security configurations and best practices, Patch Management lifecycle review, securing Group Policy Desktops and Active Directory. This candidate will work with teammates and consult with business partners for project requirements gathering, and security solution design. Duties will include on call rotation for all Microsoft security related issues. This position will need to work well in a team environment, but be strong enough to be given tasks to be developed independently, deliver solutions on time, and be integrated with other components all with minimum supervision. This candidate will be required to write clear unambiguous technical documentation and act as a source of thought leadership in Information Security solutions for the Microsoft environments. This individual must have expert knowledge in implementing changes with information security products and procedures.
