Information Security Specialist - RW1173-1174-C

Telos Corporation has an excellent opportunity for 2 Information Security Specialists with Xacta Corporation, our subsidiary that provides security-centric services and products in the areas of information assurance, secure wireless, and secure messaging. These positions will be located in Atlantic City, NJ.

The successful candidates will provide the Federal Aviation Administration national Airspace Systems in the certification and accreditation and Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) reporting of its information systems throughout the United States. Prepare C&A documentation, conduct security testing/assessments, perform risk assessments, and develop plans of action and milestones for FAA networks and systems.

Responsibilities: Understand and be proficient in the execution of the FAA Security Certification and Authorization Package (SCAP) process and/or its DoD Equivalent (i.e., DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) and security remediation planning; Possess knowledge of and direct work-related experience with the FAA, NIST, DHS and Federal Information System Security regulations.

Requirements: BA in Computer Science/Information Science required and minimum of 5 years experience in applied security engineering. Secret Clearance desired, Top Secret preferred Candidate must have one of the following certifications (or similar): CISSP, CISM or industry recognized equivalent. Demonstrable experience in either SCAP or the DoD equivalent, DITSCAP. The successful candidate will be subject to a Government security investigation, must be a US citizen, and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
