Information Systems Analyst-Oracle ERP/Order Management
The Information Systems Analyst will architect and ensure operational efficiency of information technology solutions that are used to automate, enhance, or support the business processes of Merial?s US Order Management & Finance functions.
Major Responsibilities:
? Provide strategic business planning services to maintain an IS Support Plan for the US Region which details IS-related Programs and Projects, and helps the Finance function properly budget for IS-related capital and non-capital expenses during the Profit Planning process.
? Perform role as IS Leader for IS-related projects for the US Region which includes securing business requirements, creating functional documentation, and planning and leading full lifecycle testing.
? Provide IS-related business analysis services in the areas of Order Management, Pricing & Sales Promotions, and Sales Compensation, these services include business process analysis, requirements analysis, system architecture design, and may include FDA validation planning.
? Interface with Finance and Business Leaders to optimize business processes and system processes to meet the needs and support of Finance and Business Operations.
? Interface with technical IS personnel and vendors (Developers, DBAs, and Infrastructure personnel) to ensure productive and efficient operations of Finance business applications. Based on level of technical expertise, assist in technical efforts as appropriate.
? 4-year bachelor?s degree or equivalent technical/business experience or 6-8 years of increasingly complex information systems experience/Oracle ERP applications experience at version 11.5.5 or higher required
?Order Management experience required; Sales compensation and sales promotional experience is desired; Cognos experience is a plus
?Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
?Excellent organization skills
?Versatility and ability to be a project leader or active team member
?Very good project management skills
?Order management lifecycle experience
