Salary:  $4,794 per month

Work Year:  12 months, 40 hrs/wk

Work Hours:  7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., M-F

 

 

Position Summary

Microcomputers is an experienced IT Assistant I or equivalent who has broad levels of responsibility, works in complex system environments, works with multiple PC platforms and operating systems, or is primarily responsible for a major technical area.  Incumbent performs duties with minimal supervision.  (Complete job description is available on-line at http://www.losrios.edu/ and the Human Resources Office.)

 

Requirements

1. Experience/Education:  An associate degree in computer science or equivalent (or completion of an equivalent certificate program) and two years in class of IT Assistant I with increasingly responsible activities; OR, an associate degree in computer science or equivalent (or completion of an equivalent certificate program) and four years? experience directly related to job duties; OR, a combination of training and/or experience totaling six years that is likely to have provided the required level of knowledge and abilities. 2. Special Requirements: Any offer of employment will be contingent upon the successful completion of a medical evaluation.

3. Have sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
