An experienced Information Technology Project Manager / Site Representative needed to work full-time at our client site in Dover, Delaware.

 

Job Description:

The primary mission of this position is to coordinate the client and project teams to successfully build a new state of the art enterprise software application as cost effectively and expeditiously as possible and to ensure our client?s total satisfaction.

 

Job Responsibilities: Manage, direct and assist daily project activity including requirements gathering, business analysis, scheduling, coordination of resources, personnel time management, documentation, quality assurance,  acceptance testing, change controls.  Act as primary liaison between vendor and client.Seeing the project through to its successful completion in two years. Coordinate communication and project activities between vendor and client project teamsEnsure compliance with established project management methodologies and contractual obligationsIdentify and recommend project processes and procedures that can be improved to provide greater quality and efficiency.Conduct and coordinate meetings with client to review project progress and schedule adherence

 Job Qualifications/Skills:Must be located in or willing to relocate to the Dover, Delaware area4+ years experience directly managing large scale IT projects2+ years experience in business analysis and requirements gatheringSolid business analysis skills and UML based design experienceWorking understanding of software development, database design, and GUI designUnderstanding of Project Management Methodologies (i.e. PMBOK) Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) preferredUnderstanding of GUI design and database technologiesExperience with high-volume electronic document processing a plus BS degree in a technical field preferred Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills Strong Analytical SkillsExcellent Organizational SkillsExcellent Interpersonal SkillsProficiency with MS Word, Excel, Visio, Project and PowerPoint
