Infrastructure Architect / DBA

We?re looking for a high level professional with an attitude for success and the technical and process skills to back it up.  Candidates must have a minimum of 8 years of experience in full lifecycle application development and 8 years of database design, development and administration (Oracle preferred).  Their experience should also include at least 6 years of PL/SQL, Java, Unix or portal development.
Candidates must be proficient with working and scripting in a Unix/Linux environment with at least 5 years of korn, awk and/or sed scripting.  Experience with Java, HTML/DHTML or javascript and extensive experience with the HPUX Unix and Linux operating environments is highly preferred. 
Our ideal candidate will have experience with infrastructure capacity planning and monitoring, SLA & SLM processes, and solid knowledge of SOX and financial accounting. 

 

This position will be for the Finance Accounting Systems Technology (FAST) IT team working directly with the Infrastructure Management Lead. This role will involve extensive Oracle/Unix/J2EE design and architecture exposure and will be hands on in varying aspects of many projects as needed, including Oracle/SQL Server/ESSBase database design, PL/SQL development, web interface design, business requirements gathering, QA and testing processes, project management, etc.  This person will assist in the overall technical development and implementation of infrastructure-related initiatives; will work directly with other senior developers to formulate designs and strategies for success, and will be working with business partners to collect requirements, translate them into detailed designs and follow through with workable and sustainable technical solutions.
