Infrastructure Enterprise Architect/Project Manager

Looking for an experienced Project Manager/Infrastructure Enterprise Architect to work in a fast paced environment!

 

Your responsibilities would include:

? Develop, oversee, and align major IT technical architectural domains (systems and infrastructure) and ensure alignment with business and applications portfolio.
? Work with other infrastructure architects to drive consistent identification of standards, including the development of common, Cross-AERO standards as appropriate.
? Develop, document and oversee a technology architecture portfolio (including systems design and connectivity diagrams) on a global basis, aligned with Corporate and GTS standards that will support diverse multi-system and multi-business technology and application environment.
? Develop and articulate an understanding of business and IT strategies and technology architecture.
? Facilitate synergy teams/initiatives focused on cost effective sharing of technologies across business units to include standardizing our infrastructure technology portfolio.
? Be representative on Corporate Technology Standards Teams (Technology Roadmaps).
? Be representative on project teams during the initiation and design phase of new initiatives, ensuring technical compliance and utilization, synergies & costs effectiveness of applications and system deployments.
? Educate IT organization regarding standards and systems landscape to ensure alignment.
? Understand and evaluate external/internal technology environments in support of digitization and application initiatives.
? Identify, understand, and oversee utilization of system platforms and management tools and technologies that support application portfolio.
? Assess the impact of M&A activity on existing architecture and make appropriate recommendations.  Participate in and ensure alignment of business/application integration activities resulting from M&A initiatives.
? Make recommendations to SBG/SBU/SBE management regarding current and future technology standards and enhancements that will integrate with application portfolio and improve operating environment.
? Provide consultation on a DRP strategy for IT in support of critical applications.
? Support technical architecture as necessary for key strategic business initiatives, including ERP, PDM, UWS, etc?
? Ensure alignment of all critical systems to Corporate, Aerospace, security policy?s and standards.
? Participate in, and provide critical input into, core SBU infrastructure planning activities, including Strategic Planning (STRAP) and Annual Operating Plan (AOP).

? Proven ability to understand business technology and delivery of solutions
? Ability to translate complex systems knowledge to various levels of business leadership
? Ability to multi-task in a consulting role in support of business requirements
? Ability to work under pressure
? Positive and productive working relationship with GTS/GBS architectural teams
? Strong organizational and management skills with ability to function in a collaborative environment, working with SBG/SBU/SBE IT leadership
? Knowledge of Supplier-based offerings and experience working with third parties (internal and external)
? Ability to translate business issues/requirements and objectives into technical architecture solutions
? Ability to conceptualize and quickly assess the impact and opportunity of IT solutions to meet business needs
? Skilled in identifying and evaluating new technology developments and gauging appropriateness for the business
? Breadth of experience, understanding and exposure to broad-based technical environments and platforms
? Ability to develop presentation material on technical activity and to make recommendations to both IT and business level audiences as appropriate

 

Minimum Requirements
? B.S. degree in Computer Science/Business or related discipline degree
? In lieu of degree, 5-7 years of directly related experience which yields an equivalent level of knowledge and abilities
? 5+ years experience in large business I/T environment
? Experience in supporting business objectives in a partnered/cosourced model
? Diverse knowledge of infrastructure technologies, multi-platform environments and management tools
? Green Belt certification required, DFSS training/certification preferred, Blackbelt and/or other advanced SSP training a plus

 

5 month + contract position
