Infrastructure Support Technician

As the Infrastructure Support Technician, you will provide regional on-site infrastructure support to host facility and other facilities, as required. Respond to problems reported through the Client Service Desk (CSD) within the established service level agreement (SLA) for the urgency assigned to the problem. This includes, but is not limited to, repair of computer hardware, resolving applications issues, and diagnosing and resolving issues involving the physical infrastructure. Provide regional on-site infrastructure support to corporate initiatives, to include, but not limited to: SAP, MFD, MDI, Notes Conversion, and PC Technology Refresh. Provide timely reports and implementation of corporate initiatives. Assist host facility in the preparation, documentation, and maintenance of the Disaster Recovery Plan. Publish plan in the Global DR Plan Repository; test plan per published instructions; amend plan as needed. Develop and maintain required site documentation. IT Server database accurate, complete IS hardware inventory, complete software inventory, installation instructions for all nonstandard software, IP addressing scheme, plant diagram with MDF, IDFs, and network drops, cable plant certification results, switch wiring diagram.

This role requires a candidate with strong interpersonal skills, good communication skills, and 2-3 years of experiences with PC hardware, operating systems and Office productivity application software. Working knowledge of Novell & Microsoft Networks is a plus. Working knowledge is needed in multiple architecture domains (technology, data, etc.).
