Accenture?s Services workforce is a dedicated team of people who work on outsourcing engagements. These are long-term partnerships with clients for whom we manage and provide increasingly specialized business operations, such as finance and accounting, IT, applications development and maintenance, help desk services, and HR.  We not only maintain key business functions for clients, we constantly seek to improve them to help our clients move ahead of the competition.


The Services workforce is made up of four groups: Client Operations, Project Based, Delivery Centers and BPO Businesses.  Most of our people in Services are based long-term at a client location, an Accenture Delivery Center or, in some cases, an Accenture office.

 

Client Operations professionals are responsible for the day-to-day provision of long-term outsourcing services to one or several clients.  They design, manage and implement the activities associated with key business functions. The Service Delivery/Operations capability focuses on the attributes or skills essential to providing the necessary services and solutions to the client, the client?s employees or the client?s customers in fulfillment of contractual obligations agreed upon by both parties. Examples of professionals in this capability would be software developers and technical architects. The Application Outsourcing specialty incorporates skills which support the programming, management and maintenance services required to implement and support new installations or maintain and improve existing legacy systems for our clients.

 

Integrated Test Analyst

 

- Provides production support for a specific application or group of applications.  Activities include problem analysis, break/fix, testing, and promotion to the production environment.
- Manage test scenarios; test data and testing tools
- Provides expertise and support for functional testing of the system
- Work with developers and testers to identify data requirements, develop scripts, and determine expected results in order to create automated tests.
- Applies appropriate technical, industry, and functional knowledge to all work efforts.
- Ensures the finished product meets the design objectives and any other appropriate criteria associated with the original request.  Produces complete and accurate documentation for work based on current documentation standards.
- Participates in product test preparation, execution, fix, and documentation.
- Reports weekly status to the relevant team leaders.  Identifies problems and brings them to supervisors attention with sufficient lead time to avert crises.  Also identifies changes in scope or work effort that could result in budgetary overrun or the missing of delivery dates.
- Operates with autonomy, but requires regular supervision.
- Takes initiatives within defined limits.
- Possesses a basic knowledge of application or function.
- Notifies supervisors/escalates issues when problems or issues arise that are outside of normal scope of area.
- Interacts with users within limits set by supervisors and management.
- Provides on-call support outside normal business hours as needed.

 

 

Qualifications

 

- 1- 3 years overall experience in systems development projects to include the following: 1+ years programming in Java,1+ years J2EE (Java 2 Enterprise Edition), EJB (Enterprise Java Beans), and JSP (Java Server Pages) Programming and Configuration,1+  years JDBC (Java Database Connectivity) Programming,1 years HTML, 2 years programming in SQL (Structured Query Language)
- OOP (Object Oriented Programming) Design Concepts
- 1+ years experience with Mercury Quality Center or other testing management tools
- 1+ years experience with Rational Requisite Pro or other Requirements Management Tools
- Understanding of application testing concepts
- Bachelors in Computer Science or two additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
