Integration Engineer
Integration Engineer Description: Looking for a Integration Engineer with strong Networking and QA skills for hardware system integration.
"Create integration and configuration documentation suitable for conversion into engineering, configuration, test and manufacturing plans.
"Evaluate methods to integrate new technologies and products into the client product line. Create integration evaluation procedures and matrices on a per-technology basis. Create automated evaluation tools as needed.
"Develop and document integration usage models for new technologies, and turn them over to product development so that they may be converted into requirements and engineering specifications
"Develop and document integrated test requirements for new technologies and components, so that QA may convert the requirements into test plans.
"Test and acquire evaluation tools
"Work with 3rd party vendors to resolve evaluation, integration issues and questions
"Present results to Prod Dev management and Project teams
"Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
"BS Computer Science, BS CIS or BS EE or equivalent experience required
"5 Years network management and/or IT experience
"Applicable certifications, such as MCSA/MCSE (Microsoft), Cisco and/or certifications from other vendors
"Experience with MicroSoft 2003 server platforms required.
"Experience with network security, including Firewalls and VPN required
"Experience with server management required
"Experience with network systems integration, network management, and IT support.
"Familiarity with protocols such as SNMP, HTTP, SOAP, SOA, Web Services a plus
"Experience with Anti-Virus and Patch Management a plus
"Experience with software development a plus
"Experience with VoIP and/or wireless products a plus.
"Experience with FIPS, IA and other DoD or Federal certifications a big plus
"Strong work ethic - someone who loves to "crank" out the great work and takes great pride in professionalism, responsibility, and proactive-ness.
