Integration QA Tester
Integration QA Tester
Location: Folsom CA
Assignment Length: 5 Months
Ideal QA tester should have a minimum of five years experience in software development field. Candidate will have a minimum of 3 of the 5 years in a quality assurance tester role. Proven track record working on large software development, systems implementation, and systems integration projects.
Scope of Work:
? Document system test scenarios and test cases
? Work with project teams to understand specific system functionality and data requirements
? Support development of regression test suites for ongoing maintenance
? Implementation of data quality controls both for testing and on-going validation
? Implementation of Quality Assurance/Testing metrics
? Implementation of defined methodologies
Required Skills:
? Strong ability in system engineering, information engineering, and software engineering design
? Extensive experience in various testing methodologies including black box, white box, system integration.
? Knowledge of XML and XML Schema
? Experience with Mercury tools, LoadRunner, QuickTestPro, Quality Center
? Experience with Oracle PLSQL programming and script development
? Experience with Oracle 9i/10g database management systems (DBMS)
? Excellent communication and analytical skills
Desired Experience:
? Experience delivering enterprise solution implementations
? Experience in the Energy Industry and CIM (Common Information Model)
? Experience with XML, XML parsers, and XSD
? Understanding of web services and service oriented architecture (SOA)
