Internal Auditor - IT




Summary

Responsible for performing information systems audit work throughout the company?s Corporate, North America, and certain International locations in order to reach valid and fair conclusions as to the existence and application of proper accounting and financial controls, adherence to Corporate Financial and IT Policies and such other recommendations as may result.

 

Responsibilities

Be adept at assessing complex information systems application development, implementation and processing risks that warrant audit attention.

 

Plan and perform information systems audit work which sufficiently evaluates control environments in computer.

 

Identify when specialized skills/resources are needed to capably assess unique and complex technology applications (e.g. new operating system implementations, new network control tools, etc.).

 

Apply information systems development, implementation and operation control concepts in a wide variety of technology settings.

 

Be adept at evaluating information system audit results from management's perspective, even when defined criteria or standards do not exist.

 

Be effective in evaluating overall audit results.

 

Demonstrate effective project management skills that promote team productivity and the completion of audit projects within time budgets and calendar schedules.

 

Requirements

3-5 years of information system audit experience or a combination of information systems and financial audit experience.

 

Either hold or working toward CISA or CPA certification.  Demonstrated skills in leading complex information systems audits.  Skills in using Microsoft windows based software.

 

Oracle programming skills or programming skills in related computer languages.  Experience auditing MS based operating systems.
