Internal & External Web Developer

QUALIFICATIONS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

REQUIREMENTS:
? Works with internal customers to design, create, deploy and maintain web pages for corporate intranet and internet sites
? Design and develop attractive web pages that support web standards (xhtml and css) that represent the company well
? Design and develop graphical email notices
? Edit code in JavaScript, asp, (x)html, css, and ActionScript to create and modify interactive pages and forms
? Create web pages using an XHTML editing tool such as Dreamweaver as well as by hand-coding
? Provide superior customer service for a variety of internal customers
? Provide accurate estimates of time and work effort for a variety of projects
? Able to work independently and effectively prioritize without supervision
? Work with customers to gather creative and technical requirements for their particular needs
? Able to perform quality assurance testing to identify and resolve problems with web pages
? Expertise with graphics software such as Photoshop, Illustrator and Freehand to create attractive, web-optimized graphics
? Create web pages using css-based layout as well as traditional tabular-based layout
? Work on a variety of projects, from simple web pages to full-scale database-driven website design
? Demonstrate an understanding of W3C standards and accessibility issues
? Develop and present concept alternatives for new projects.
? Work with content management tools to create templates and assist site editors to maintain site content
? Provide support for internal site editors
? Coordinate the work of external vendors with some supervision
? Work on changes and new development of web pages
? Demonstrate an ability to design for various browser and platform types
? Work with IT support staff to effectively troubleshoot problems, update security access, create automated replication jobs and more
? Experience with Adobe Acrobat and Flash 8

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor?s degree (in Multimedia Design and Web Development preferred) and 2-4 years relevant experience required. Must have an ability to provide superior customer service, work well in a team environment, and work independently required.
