Internet Project Manager

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY:

 

Manage the day-to-day organization of key projects and initiatives undertaken by the Imaging Internet Development team, as well as supervise the management/allocation of group resources.  The primary function will be to manage the project development/implementation process, through proposal, development, testing, launch and debrief stages. This includes reviewing project estimates, creating project schedules, identifying and allocating resources (design, content, administrative, etc.) conduct status meetings, maintain project scope and identify lessons learned/best practices.

 

 

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

 

? Responsible for key aspects of project management including project specification, scheduling, coordinating designers/programmers, identifying content needs, and post-project analysis. 

? Coordinate activities of project teams, following up on all action items and ensuring that project tasks are completed on time; escalating issues as needed.

? Manage the operation and maintenance of the website content management systems.

? Manage quality assurance for communication initiatives utilizing company web applications.

? Monitor site traffic and other key success metrics and adjust web tactics accordingly.

? Responsible for management and improvement of user experience.

? Ensure Imaging Internet Development team?s deliverables exceed stakeholder expectations.

? Conduct development team meetings and create action items.

? Provide team members with updated reports of key initiatives and projects.

? Work with IT Department to ensure the security of online applications.

? Maintain budgets, schedules and resources; review invoices and serve as lead contact for vendors.

? Summarize, communicate and create contingency plans for team responsibilities.

 

 

Ancillary responsibilities:

 

? Serve as primary contact for third-party vendors as needed

? Help to identify and execute opportunities to further the professional development of Imaging Internet Development team.

? Manage Imaging Internet Development team; assist the Corporate and Internet Communications Manager in the development of long-term online marketing strategies for all internet initiatives.

? All other duties as required or needed.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

 

Proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint

Knowledge of internet project management best practices, procedures and tactics

Knowledge of interface design, programming, interactive and Internet technologies

Strong decision making aptitude

Quantitative business analysis with qualitative consumer understanding ability

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Excellent organizational skills with detail orientation

Self-motivated, creative and flexible

Team leader skills

 

 

EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

 

5-8 years experience in web production

2-4 years Supervisory experience

B.A. in Marketing or technology related field

MBA preferred but not required
