Skills Required:

? Minimum five (5) years experience as an application programming developer in design and construction utilizing J2EE and Enterprise Java Beans

? Sun Certified Java Programmer with three (3) years of full J2EE application programming development experience with BEA Weblogic application server, Oracle 9.1 or higher

? Minimum five (5) years experience with Oracle

? Experience supporting production environments

? Analytical design and problem-solving skills with excellent oral and written communication skills

? Current expertise with object oriented design methodology, J2EE design pattern, UML modeling.

? Must be willing to accept, abide by, and demonstrate corporate values of integrity, innovation, excellence, teamwork and cost-effectiveness

? Bachelor?s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience

? Knowledge of a range of platforms, including UNIX

 

 

Preferred Skills:Experience with TOAD, TeaLeaf and WINCVSTeradata and Microsoft SQL Server  Experience on SunOne WebServerMinimum five (5) years experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript

 

 

Special Qualifications:

? Experience with Ab Initio highly desirable.

? Experience with COBOL highly desirable

? Prior experience within the travel industry in revenue accounting, settlement, ticketing or back office is highly desirable

 

 

Work Description:

? Trouble-shoot problems ? both technical and operational

? Provide technical and professional assistance to other staff members

? Provide 24 X 7, 365 day-a-year support on a rotating basis

? Work effectively in a multi-tasking environment

? Work with on-line and batch applications

? Support Web and Internet-based products and services with minimal direction and based on documented user requirements

? Provide recommendations for efficiencies and improvements to computer systems

? Develop and support software in a commercial environment

? Perform system design, develop and test application code

? Maintain technical requirements and system documentation

? Lead projects from requirements through implementation based on product and project development methodologies

? Must be self-motivated individual with the ability to solve complex problems using reverse engineering
