J2EE Web Developr - Supply Chain

Position Summary:
This individual will be responsible for analyzing, developing, implementing, and supporting global, e-Supplier applications in accordance with the TEIS development and project management methodologies to support strategic and tactical Supply Chain Management initiatives.

The successful candidate will be well-versed in all aspects of Enterprise Application development using Java technologies while adhering to the development guidelines within TEIS. This position provides many challenging and exciting opportunities within the realm of Enterprise Application Development.

Position Duties/Responsibilities
1. Analyze and understand business requirements to determine the needs of the business
2. Analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation (full lifecycle) of Supply Chain Enterprise Applications
3. Adherence to TEIS best practices and development/project management methodologies
4. Support Enterprise Applications in adherence to service level agreements (examples include, Internet Data Exchange, Internet Labeling, Invoice Inquiry, Vendor Consigned Inventory, IPO-Source Tracking System, CC&CE Inspection Data Collection, Procurement Tracking System, and Procurement Spend Savings Forecast)
5. Creation of Documentation and training materials

Position Requirements/ Skills
1. Strong development experience with the following technologies - J2EE/Java, IBM Websphere, Struts framework, JavaScript, Solaris/Unix, and Oracle. Plumtree IDK experience preferred.
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in complete lifecycle development for Enterprise Applications.
3. Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
4. Excellent oral and written communication.
5. Ability to multi-task and adhering to the established project timeframe.
6. Ability to contribute to the design and architecture of the proposed solution.
7. Prior experience with procurement systems or familiarity with purchasing business processes is a plus

Education ' Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent experience preferred.
