JAVA/J2EE Developer

This position requires a DOE security clearance.  Only candidates able to obtain a DOE L or Q clearance will be given consideration.  Candidates in New Mexico will be given highest consideration.

 

RESPEC, a professional services and consulting company, seeks a qualified candidate to provide Middleware Project role.  Candidate will provide administration of a robust, secure, corporate, J2EE infrastructure in support of the development, management, and deployment of multi-tier server-centric applications based on the Java programming language.Infrastructure includes multiple development, quality, and production installations of the BEA WebLogic Server and the full range of J2EE services it provides.

 

Qalified individual works in a team setting and provides administration of middleware server environments.  Individual advises application developers using WebLogic and ColdFusion servers, monitor performance of WebLogic environments, and maintains existing WebLogic servers, which host over 100 WebLogic and ColdFusion applications.  Previous J2EE and/or ColdFusion application development and experience in the UNIX environment will be very useful in this position.

 

Qualifications:

Masters or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or MIS, or equivalent educational or work experience.

 

STRONGLY DESIRED:

Experience in the following areas:  J2EE application development, ColdFusion application development, UNIX environments, UNIX scripting.

- BEA WebLogic server installations, Solaris

-  Good problem solving skills.

-  Good interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral).

-  Desire to learn new technical skills.

-  Active DOE Q or L secruity clearance, or ability to obtain a clearance
