JD Edwards Analyst

This is an immediate ?permanent placement opportunity with a client in North Houston. We are seeking an experienced JD Edwards EnterpiseOne analyst with a programming background, project management expertise and strong functional JD Edwards experience. Responsibilities will include:

?Direct involvement with projects such as ERP or related software implementations, transitions or migrations and other special projects. Work with the functional groups to define and document process needs and identify systematic gaps.Generate Gap Analysis documentation including a detailed solution analysis to enable the business to make sound decisions.Recommend, plan, manage and implement applications projects working closely with client community to define business and resource requirements and time lines.Provide formal or informal training including documentation to users and IT staff.Assist in identifying and designing reporting needs to a finite level. Establish queries on demand.Recommend business and system metrics to identify opportunities in system processes. Coordinate internal and external staff assigned to selected projects to achieve project and company goals.Conduct research for problem solutions, software patches, future software upgrades as well as related software applications. Submit cases to vendor for problem resolution.Report on project progress to Supervisor and users on a regular basis.

Requirements:

????????? Candidate must have 5+ years experience with JDEdwards World and/or EnterpriseOne products in an AS400, DB2 environment; preferably with versions 7.13 and 8.10 respectively.

????????? 3-4 years of systems design and programming work experience and additional advanced study preferred.

????????? Experience with Microsoft Access, Word, Power Point and Excel.

????????? Ability to effectively work with people in other departments and/or outside of the enterprise.

????????? Project Management skills and work experience desired.
