Java Applications Developer
As a Java Applications Developer with U.S. Bank, you will:Perform analysis, design, development, test and support of complex Java/J2EE systems Use Rational and IBM tools to translate use cases and wire frame diagrams to Java code in a J2EE environment Troubleshoot and maintain mission-critical, complex web environment Apply best-practices Java development patterns to new and existing code. While we expect that you?ll possess a strong basic skill set, including excellent communication and people skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team or independently, we also require: 5 years of Java (J2EE preferred) application development in a web environment, 3 years of JSP, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS development, and experience coding in an MVC model for user interface (JSF and Hibernate experience is a major plus). Experience with WebSphere Studio App Developer or RAD, Rational Rose, ClearCase, ClearQuest, XML, MQ Series, and UML Strong communication skills and ability to perform self-directed work given high level description of incident or defect Knowledge of security implications of web applications, and some experience designing secure web applications Working knowledge of relational databases and database query design is a plus.
