Java Developers

We are currently searching for qualified candidates to fill multiple Java Developer positions in the Houston area.  Developers will be working across the business and have specialized analytical skills. This position is expected to design and propose technical solutions, develop mockups and final working web solutions and help implement new systems throughout the organization.

 

Job functions:

? Develop technical enterprise solutions using custom and/or third party hardware/software products.
? Develop and recommend strategies based on the analysis of customer business goals, objectives and infrastructure.
? Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems that meet requirements.
? Acting as advisor to subordinate(s) to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.
? Developing and administers schedules and performance requirements.
? Understanding the supported technologies, platforms and applications, and applying that knowledge to automated business solutions.
? Maintaining and improving proficiency in the use of integrated methodologies and project management tools.
? Ensure integration of automated business functions and their related data.
? Translate business requirements into data models and the design of logical databases.
? Provide quality solutions that meet specific business unit requirements.


This position requires excellent facilitation skills and someone who understands team dynamics in an enterprise environment.  Must have the ability to apply collaborative problem solving techniques and understand how to deal effectively with challenging situations.

Responsiblities include:

Identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet internal business requirements.

Desired Skills:


? Requires a minimum of 4 years of related experience. 2+ Java development experience.

? Degreed professionals only.  Graduate coursework is desirable.
? Requires an experienced professional who has supplemented basic professional knowledge and skills with substantial experience in a technical role providing business process analysis as well as application and database development.


Technical experience in the following areas:

? Struts, Tomcat, Weblogic or Websphere, JSP, Servlets, Java Script, CVS, Eclipse, HTML, XML, ANT, Junit and SQL.
