Java/J2EE Lead Developer

Knowledge Services, a professional services firm providing staffing services, web-enabled Vendor Management Systems and Staffing Optimization Solutions, and advanced Oracle, PeopleSoft and Seibel technical training has an immediate opportunity for a Java/J2EE Technical Lead with our client in Columbus, OH. 

 

Requirements:BS degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems.10 + years of progressive experience on enterprise wide systems designs and development. 4 + years designing, developing, debugging and deploying web services using open industry standards such as SOAP, UDDI and WSDL, is mandatory. 4 + years experience with J2EE applications, JAVA (EJB, JSP), XML, and PL/SQL.10 + years experience on enterprise level systems development projects.5 + years of combined experience on Oracle eBusiness Suite applications such as Oracle Financial and Oracle HR application is preferred. Experience as an application architect on enterprise wide development projects.Experience with SOA and web services preferred.Experience with and of the following applications is preferred: WebPDM, Hyperion, Kronos.Knowledge of VB Scripting preferred. Knowledge of FTP Protocol preferred. PMP Certification preferred. Responsible for designing, developing, debugging, deploying and supporting web services applications. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to other developers on JAVA, XML and Web Services technologies. Act in an application architect role. Work with the Enterprise Architecture group to efficiently implement corporate application solutions that drive optimal business results. May act as a technical lead / program manager including estimating, scheduling, resource planning (time, money, and people), project tracking, risk management and expectation management for major efforts.Experience with store applications such as Datavantages STORE21 or XSTORE POS systems design, development, debugging and deployment preferred. Ability to effectively prioritize and stay on target in spite of conflicting demands, changing timetables, and unforeseen problems.
