Java/Oracle Application Developer (4)
An exciting opportunity to build a custom project management application. This technical position will be doing custom development as a result of identified requirements gaps in what the Oracle Projects application can provide. The application will be developed utilizing JDeveloper; Java, J2EE, JSP, HTML, PL/SQL, Portal.
Responsibilities include developing/integrating/maintaining/supporting the J2EE-based components. The developer will analyze and review functional requirements and design documents; develop prototypes; develop, code, test, and maintain software; conduct software code reviews; provide estimates for project activities; identify and escalate technical issues.
Experience with JDeveloper; OA Framework, ADF Strong experience in J2EE, specifically JSP, Servlets, JavaBeans Strong experience with Model-view controller architecture and Struts Experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, ANT and XML Experience with Discoverer and XML Publisher Strong JDBC and Oracle database experience Basic proficiency in UML modeling techniques Strong written and verbal communication skills Able to work effectively with other project staff to successfully implement web applications
Required Skills
? Minimum 3 years experience in web-based application development.
? Minimum 3 years experience in object-oriented development and design.
? Minimum 2 years experience developing applications that utilize an Oracle DBMS.
? Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2003 desktop application software.
