Java Swing Developer

This is a 3 months contract to hire opportunity.

1. Analysis of business requirements and
subsequent creation of high level technical
design documents and technical specifications, in
accordance with company architecture
standards.

2. Act as a technical lead on the team and
provide sound technical recommendations and
direction for building applications.

3. Development of application code using
Java/J2EE/Swing

4. Unit and system testing of application code,
as well as execution of implementation
activities.

5. Identification, documentation, estimation
and delegation of technical tasks for large,
complex projects.

6. Analysis and identification of technical
areas of improvement within existing Java/J2EE applications.

7. Work with other internal IT teams to
complete project activities, such as
Infrastucture, Architecture and Database teams.
