Java Systems Integrator
SYSTEMS INTEGRATOR
This position is for someone who is a mix between functional and technical. The right person for this role will have experience in a JBOSS environment, ANT scripting, UNIX background, and some J2EE development skills of one year.
In this role the Systems Integrator will be working to ensure there are enough resources for application to go into production. Working with system services to ensure the environment is set up, working with configuration managers, testing team, other integrators. Candidates need to have good communication skills and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities Setting up development, test and production environments Maintaining Ant and shell scripts for building and deploying J2EE and other application components Building and deploying J2EE and other application components Troubleshooting build and deployment problems Obtain, Install & Configure third party software and components Coordinating with developers, testers, and DBAs to execute SQL scripts to modify database schemas and test data Merging code lines to support parallel development Working with developers to resolve merge conflicts Administering CVS, TestDirector, CaliberRM (creating new user accounts, adding and deleting folders, modifying access and process items) Responding to support requests from developers, testers, and project managers Java and J2EE development skills will be an advantage
EDUCATION BSCS or Equivalent Application and System Integration Experience : 4+ Years Software Development Life Cycle Experience : 5+ Years Operating Environments : Multiple (UNIX, Windows) ? 4+ Years System Administration Experience : 2+ Years Configuration Management & CM Tool Experience : 3+ Years Software Builds & Deployment Experience : 3+ Years Communication Skills : Team & Organization Leading Team or People : 2+ Years Strong Interpersonal and teaming skills : Required Responding to support requests from developers, testers, and project managers Java and J2EE development skills will be an advantage
