HCS Systems is looking for a Web Developer to work on a 3 year project for our client, the Department of Transportaion/DMV.


LITES is one of several critical DMV applications. The primary user of the system is the DMV- LIU unit; however, the LITES application also interfaces Motor Carrier, SADLS, Imaging, and CRASH applications. It is considered a medium sized application.  LITES has mainframe components.  There is a web front-end connecting to a mainframe backend.
 
The purpose of LITES:

  ? Accept and process new insurance notifications from insurance companies

  ? Accept and process terminated insurance notification from insurance companies

  ? Process self-insurance notifications

  ? Accept and verify self-certifications

  ? Establish interface between Vehicle Registration services and Liability

  ? Allow inquiry on Liability Insurance data

  ? Process and track prima facie requests

  ? Accept and track hearing requests

  ? Process and track insurance lapses

  ? Provide administrative services

  ? Establish interface between IRP/Motor Carrier and Liability Services
