Jr. Admin/Snr. Desktop Support! - TS

Jr. Admin/Senior Desktop Support Description: Responsible for assisting corporate employees with PC maintenance, troubleshooting and management. • Performs installation, configuration and upgrade tasks that may require some research and analysis. • Responsible for server maintenance, system backup procedures, and 2nd level network troubleshooting. • Keeps informed of the most current technologies and may recommend new hardware and software applications. • Responsible for setting Corporate Hardware & Software configuration standards for PCs. • Strong client interfacing skills as well as a history of delivering high customer service • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast moving, always changing, and growing team environment. • Ability to easily identify problems and articulate decisions to management and other team members. • Must have the technical capability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex problems. • Ability to set up new domain user accounts and reset passwords • Ability to work with minimal supervision Requirements: • Minimum 2+ years desktop support experience in large user base (1000+) environment • Microsoft Windows OS- Windows 2000/2003 Workstation & Server, XP Pro, basic LAN troubleshooting skills • Basic hardware troubleshooting skills • Familiarity with System Imaging/Cloning and Veritas Backup Exec Certifications: • MCSE, CCNA preferred • All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. Basic Active Directory, Basic Windows Server 2003, Basic MS Exchange Server, Intermediate Windows XP 2003, CCNA - Cisco Cert Network Asso, MCP - MS MCP, MCSE - MS Cert Systems Engr, Conversational Spanish.
