Jr. Oracle Database Analyst - Immediate Openings!

Fantastic Jr. Oracle Database Analyst contract to hire  opportunities  for those job seekers who have a desire to work with relational databases. Great opportunity to work with a growing small Exciting friendly Company in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The Ideal Candidate is someone that understands database concepts, but may not have a lot of experience. The qualified candidate does not need experience with every skill listed i.e. Oracle 9i, Sybase, SQL Server, MySQL, Toad, PL/SQL and Oracle forms generation. However, the candidate needs to be capable of learning new technologies.

The Relational Jr. Oracle Database Analyst will Analyze and manipulate Oracle 9i database information through the use of structured query language to conform to set quality standards.

The Relational Jr. Oracle Database Analyst job responsibilities are:
? Use Toad as an interface to an Oracle database.
? Analyze given data sets.
? Compare data sets to original source data.
? Write ad-hoc queries for parsing data.
? Quality check work from other team members.
? Uphold quality standards set by the company.
? Other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements are as follows:
*** Must be US Citizen ***

*** Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ***
* 1-2 years experience using relational databases.
* Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
* Basic knowledge of design and implementation of relational database joins and queries.
* Ability to build and execute basic queries for parsing data.
* Ability to work in a team environment and use available resources in meeting deadlines.
* Ability to quality check data records in accordance with established company processes and standards.
* Must be able to demonstrate basic analytical and problem solving skills.
* Must exhibit time management skills.
* Must be resourceful and show initiative.
* Must be able to work on multiple tasks.

* Basic knowledge of Oracle 9i Required

*Any experience with Sybase, SQL Server, and/or MySQL desirable.
* Basic knowledge of Toad, PL/SQL, and/or Oracle forms generation

*Good Team Player, Excellent Communication.
