Jr. Software Engineer– 192234CD

JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. This position is similar to a project coordinator (they will not be a project manager or have people manager responsibilities) They will be coordinating with developers and teams to define new architectures, do requirements gathering, defining customer usability and develop use cases.
2. Will coordinate with 3rd party vendors to develop and deploy factory-installed software applications and subscription products.
3. Principle responsibilities will include working with software providers to develop, qualify, and deploy factory installed software applications within budget, schedule, and quality guidelines.
4. This will include all activities necessary to take a software application or subscription product from concept to production, including architectural definitions, software design, validation, factory installation, and sustaining.
5. May participate in code reviews and debugging.
6. Will be participating in conference calls with overseas teams.
7. The role will require team building and cross-functional effectiveness to drive interlocks with other development teams, software suppliers, and marketing.
8. Must be able to communicate effectively and articulate engineering strategies.

Responsible for the design and/or development of software for platforms, peripherals, applications or tools using a range of applicable technologies (e.g., programming languages, compilers, assemblers and other tools) and state-of-the-art software engineering methodologies. Responsible for the delivery of products within budget, schedule, and quality guidelines.
