Junior Account Manger - IT Staffing

COMSYS Information Technology Services, Inc. is a subsidiary of COMSYS IT Partners, Inc. (NASDAQ: CITP), a leading IT staffing and solutions company with 41 offices across the U.S. and an office in the U.K.  Due to significant growth in strategic markets, we presently have an opening for a Junior Account Manager in Richmond, VA.

 

The Comsys Junior Account Manager is the primary driver of new business development in local markets and will perform duties under the direction of a Senior Account manager. The Junior Account Manager will be responsible for developing new client relationships in a specific territory defined by Branch Leadership.  Candidates must thrive in a metrics driven environment and have a high accountability for their actions.  Primary responsibilities include:

 

? Spends a minimum of 90% of time engaging in outside sales activities, such as establishing and developing new client relationships in order to diversify client base and gain market share, assuring that the Comsys sales methodology and process is being utilized.

? Generates net consultant headcount growth and manages overall profitability within target accounts.

? Establishes relationships at appropriate client levels to identify strategic, as well as transactional IT staffing needs.

? Works directly with Technical Recruiters in structuring and delivering an effective service delivery model on a client-by-client basis.

? Maintains timely and accurate Front Office system records regarding client databases, contacts, call activity and opportunity management.

? Performs other duties as assigned.

 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors degree or equivalent plus one to three years experience of documented success in sales, preferably in a staff augmentation environment or technology related field.  Proven negotiation skills are a must.  Information Technology knowledge and/or experience preferred but not required. Requires excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with clients/candidates at all levels.  Requires ability to effectively multi-task and function in a fast-paced, team oriented environment.
