Junior System Administrator

Do you consider yourself to be a budding Linux Geek? Does being around 2000 servers humming in a data center appeal to you? NationalNet Web Hosting is currently looking to fill a Junior System Administrator I position. This position is located at our Network Operations Center in downtown Atlanta.

JOB PURPOSE:

Your primary responsibilities will focus on server administration and customer support. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Candidates must have:
** 1 year or more of Linux experience
** Hardware experience
** Proven record of troubleshooting skills
** Attention to detail
** Customer phone support experience
** Enthusiastic attitude
** Strong work Ethic

NOTE that this is NOT a Microsoft System Administrator position. Those with Microsoft experience only need not apply. Linux experience is required.

A written test will be administered during the interview process.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the skill set required above, an aptitude for learning, excellent 'can-do' attitude, excellent phone and communication skills.

REQUIREMENTS:

** Must be willing to work with customers who own and operate adult oriented web sites.
** Must be at least 21 years of age.
** Must live (or be willing to relocate) in the Greater Atlanta Georgia area.
** Must be available to work all/any shifts.
** Must be able to work on call if needed.
** Must agree to civil and criminal background investigation.
