Junior Visual Basic Programmer/Developer

We're a fast-growing company located near John Wayne/Orange County Airport with an immediate need for a Junior Visual Basic Developer/Programmer. This is a great opportunity to partake in essential IT functions for a dynamic company poised for even more significant growth.  We have multiple divisions that include, payroll, a tool reimbursement program, benefits, and HR.  This technical role will be crucial to all growing divisions from a programming perspective.

 

Position Summary:

 

Qualified applicants will possess a minimum of 3 years of professional programming experience in Visual Basic. Must have experience using Crystal Reports. In addition, applicants will have 3+ years experience working with Microsoft SQL, with some M3 experience as a plus but NOT required. The ideal candidate will have proven skills in the areas of data modeling, database design and architecture and experience writing and debugging SQL stored procedures and triggers. Good written/oral communication skills and the ability to work and communicate with business users required.

 Compliance - ability to conform to best practices that minimize the probability of system failures and maximize system performance.

 

Service - ability to respond expediently, courteously and consistently to customer requests in critical and tense situations.
