Junior Web Developer

This is a 6 month contract to permanent position. Applicants must have the ability to independently or with minimal facilitation assistance work with internal customers to turn their vision for new web site functionality into written requirements, mockups, and sample pages for validation and then into working applications. This position requires the ability to analyze, troubleshoot, propose solutions, and code/test/implement enhancements for existing web sites.

The ideal candidate will be have knowledge in ASP.Net and Visual Basic. A solid working knowledge of SQL is a must. Experience developing web applications against Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server databases is very desirable. Exposure to the Vignette content management platform (version 5 or 6) and experience with FrontPage are also very desirable, as is experience with the Macromedia Flash development environment (version 7 and higher). Server administration skills (Windows 2000 and Windows 2003 platforms) are desired.
