KPIT ePMO Sr. Trainer/Instructional Designer

This position provides quality training and educational services for all levels of Kaiser Permanente clinicians and staff who use computer tools in their daily work.
In this role, you will research, design, and produce appropriate written instructor and student materials; provide computer classroom instruction for a variety of software products; act as a change agent and catalyst of enthusiasm to create positive energy in students, co-workers, and peers.
You will assess target audiences learning needs in support of organizational strategy, core processes, and identified competencies; identify knowledge & skill gaps and develop training plans to close the gaps.
You will also conduct post instruction outcome evaluations measuring effectiveness of training programs at Kirkpatricks Level I, II, III.
The position provides coordination of regional computer training activities by understanding patient care processes across departments and disciplines, maintaining open communication channels among various staff and management, and establish collaborative working relationships with the requestor and the target audience.
As a Sr Trainer lead the training portion of regional projects by actively participating on project teams; provide project status reporting and create and manage the training timeline and deliverables to ensure positive training outcomes and on time implementation.

Please note that this position will require occasional go-live support for new users on weekends and/or evenings.

Required Experience:
-Minimum ten years experience in a corporate or healthcare training environment providing classroom and one-on-one instruction.
-Minimum five years experience developing professional quality instructor and student materials (samples required).

Preferred Experience:
-Experience training a clinical information system, e.g., EpicCare or MedicaLogic.
-Clinical or healthcare experience.

Required Education:
Bachelors degree (Masters Preferred) in education, instructional design, related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
