Lab Technician

Lab Technician Description: Responsible for the build, maintenance, and repair of lab systems used in the in the testing of networking products. OS imaging, system builds, deployment of new equipment, and other lab support functions.
Focus will be on system imaging, integration, repair, and upgrades for various desktop, workstation, and server platforms. Duties would include but may not be limited to system builds, HW & SW troubleshooting, and upgrades of test platforms. The individual would also be called upon to assist in various lab support activities and to occasionally provide technical input into future purchasing decisions.

Primary Skill: Lab Debug
Other Skills: LINUX; TCP/IP; TESTING; UNIX
This position requires considerable interaction with test engineers, test technicians, and software developers. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Primary Skills:
1. Excellent PC platform hardware integration skills.
2. Advanced Microsoft OS installation and debugging skills.
3. Linux/Unix installation experience.
4. Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
5. Microsoft operating system knowledge - particularly with respect to networking and TCP/IP.
6. Must able to work well in a team environment.
7. Must be able to quickly adapt to changing priorities.
Experience with motherboard and server hardware.
