My Client, a top Research Hospital in TN is seeking a Lawson Systems Administrator to help it's Information Systems Department provide the highest level of services to its Clients

Job Description
The Systems Administrator II provides technical support and services related to the Lawson ERP applications and environments.

Primarily responsible for management and support of Security and User Accounts within the Lawson ERP environment including security at the program, file, data and field levels.

Will help to direct, coordinate and carry out system and network installations, configurations, administration, and the support of Data Center operations. Systems will include both operating systems and application software systems residing on individual host computers or the network.
Work closely with other Database Administrator(s) and System Administrators(s) to provide continuous database and application support of Lawson ERP technical services.
Work closely with application and technical team members to assist in meeting implementation and support objectives.
The System Administrator II will also track assigned systems or network components for purposes of performance tuning and capacity planning and help to develop policies and procedures in support of intranet and Internet security, virus protection, and maintaining service level agreements. (AO)

Job Qualifications

Bachelor?s Degree or four (4) years of experience in systems or network operations dealing with in-house or comparable systems or networks is required.
System Administrator experience in a Lawson environment preferred.
Minimum of two (2) year lead level experience (Systems Operator) in system or network operations on in-house or comparable systems is required.
Minimum of two (2) years of previous systems or network programming experience is required. Minimum two (2) years experience with Lawson LAUA, Security and User Account Administration, Java and Unix Scripting is highly desirable.
Knowledge of Lawson ESP?s, MSP?s, CTP?s, environment and product line maintenance is a plus.
Knowledge of Oracle 9i is a plus.
Previous experience in a multi-vendor computer/network operating and application systems environment is desirable.
Previous experience in a biomedical research or academic environment is desirable.


Certification in one of the following areas is desired:

IBM Professional System Administrator
Oracle Database Administration
Lawson Process Flow
Lawson Environment Administration
