Responsibilities:

 

Senior individual responsible for assisting the Development teams with the various Mercury testing tools as well as ensuring they are following the UT and UHT defined testing methodology and processes. This individual will also be responsible to define the Quality Assurance checkpoints, create a process to capture this information to give feedback to management and the development teams on the quality of the developed application. 
Must demonstrates an advanced level of understanding of application system concepts and their integration with business problem resolution and provides technical team leadership for the testing of these applications. 
Run JAD sessions for complex analysis and requirements definition.
Expert resource on one or more development environments or programming languages.
Document and coordinate complex, cross-functional system test plans.
Liaison with clients or other systems areas involving complex problem solving is a significant element of work.
Accountable for effectiveness, quality project analysis, programming and testing decisions and how easily they can be implemented.
Provides significant input to establishment of protocols, tools and systems investments.
Frequent consultation with company senior leaders and/or outside vendors on complex issues having impact across UHG organization entities or involving large financial investments.



Qualifications:
Extensive experience in complex, cross departmental projects involving multiple platforms.
Demonstrate advanced level of understanding and application of general systems concepts.
Recognized as company-wide expert in the Mercury Test Tools in one or more areas of test suite. 
Training or equivalent experience in project or team leadership role.
In-depth knowledge of systems development life cycle and/or operational maintenance environment.
Distinguished as leader through possession of broad understanding of company business issues and their integration with broad and complex information systems applications.
Able to schedule, assign, direct, review and perform related follow up and work coordination activities with others on technical team.
Able to perform advisory role on complex projects.
Plan, organize and lead technical aspects of large-scale projects to successful conclusion.
Able to perform general management functions in the absence of area manager.
Runs JAD sessions for complex analysis and requirements definition.
Work under broad, general direction.
