??? Apex?Systems Inc. is currently looking for a Lead?DBA for a two year contract in Harrisburg, PA.? The position is requiring two certifications, MCSE and MCDBA.? The technology environment is Oracle 9i, SQL Server 2000, and Windows 2000/2003 Server.????? Here is the functional description:??? The successful candidate will become the lead DBA for a large web application hosting environment.? They will design, build, administer, maintain and tune high-availability, high-performance database solutions using products from Microsoft and Oracle.? The candidate must have excellent technical, communication and organizational skills.??? The hosting environment comprises 350 Wintel Server and 200 Web-facing applications and is continuing to grow.? It is widely recognized for its innovative use of the latest technologies from Microsoft, Cisco, Oracle and other leading IT companies.? The successful candidate will work as a member of a 24- person team that manages this environment.?????????????????????????
