Lead Network Engineering Consultant

Position will require being lead engineer for a service department, requiring top client management and troubleshooting skills. This position will become the manager of the field service force, and require oversight of the other engineering staff. Ability to support other engineers, and resolve high level technical problems is a must. There will be a written assessment of your technical skills in the event of an interview.

Candidate will be responsible for delivering network and desktop troubleshooting in support of highly monitored networks and help-desk initiated support tickets.? Individual will also assist and/or lead in the engineer/design of infrastructure for new network or major network upgrades, depending on qualifications/experience.? Will perform administrative functions in support of operational role including: full data input and documentation of support ticket calls and other duties; research of third party information, such as licensing or installation procedures; mileage/expense reports; etc.? Will provide courteous and thoughtful response to customer issues in-person, on the phone and/or via email; without regard to their relevancy or the perception of the customer's knowledge.

Ideal Qualifications:Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or near-relevant test completionMicrosoft Windows Server 2003, Exchange Server 2003, and Active Directory?experienceMicrosoft Small Business Server 2003 experienceThorough knowledge of TCP/IPMicrosoft IIS experienceSymantec or equivalent Anti-Virus experience
