Lead Programmer Analyst
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the design, development, enhancement and problem solving related to BJ's financial and business systems, applications and software platforms. Will apply for implement all IT/BJ's Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and SDLC methodology and requirements. Will serve as senior technical and analytical resource and may run small to medium size IT projects. This position will coordinate projects, including the gathering of requirements, from other IT teams and the user community. Will provide on-call and post-implementation support. This position may be required to mentor junior team members. Will perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Must have six (6) years analysis, programming, design and implementation experience. Demonstrated system analysis and design skills plus proven aptitude for programming and system development are required. A background in IBM MVS, JCL and structured COBOL plus working knowledge of SOX and SDLC are essential. Retail industry and financial business systems experience is preferred. Excellent organizational and communication skills are critical. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is desired. Equivalent work experience in Computer Science or a related field will be considered.
