Lead Senior Network Engineer

About the Opportunity Establish and maintain network performance; enhance network engineering staff accomplishments and competence; establish networking environment; maximize network performance; secure network system; update job knowledge; accomplish information systems and organization mission; report network operational status.

Qualifications

Expert problem-solver. Sorts through complex issues and conducts comparative analysis of multiple solutions.

Strong project management background. Proven track record of delivering on large scale projects. Experience overseeing all aspects of the project, including planning, resource allocation, and budget.

Advanced LAN knowledge
Advanced Experience with:
LAN, PIX architecture and design.
Check Point firewall configuration and setup.
VLANs design and implementation
Cisco routers and switches - expertise configuring and troubleshooting.
Security expert ? knowledgeable of the setup and configuration of secure networks, managing ACLs

Experience in hardware provisioning, installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Expert knowledge of LAN/WAN networking, servers, workstations, operating systems, and applications.

Optimizes network design and ensures efficient and secure operation of all network systems. Expert level WAN and traffic engineering experience.
Provide custom network design solutions

Mastery of advanced performance tuning and capacity management concepts.

Extensive experience troubleshooting network clients and servers.

Extensive knowledge of networking standards, protocols, security, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

Has perfect attendance and can be trusted to handle a high level of responsibility.

Thrives under pressure. Ability to effectively handle escalations and time critical issues. Remains productive, provides solutions, and meets goals in stressful situations.

Can define own role, take on responsibilities, and manage priorities with minimal guidance. to 9 years technical experience
5+ years of management experience
