Lead Server/Network Technician
Palmer Technology Solutions (PTS) is looking for a Lead Server/Network Technician to work in an exciting, fast-paced environment. Qualified candidates should be career minded individuals with excellent communications skills. The Lead Technician is required to develop a successful working relationship with each member of the PTS team and all PTS customers based on communication, trust and respect. The Lead Technician should strive to meet or exceed all customer needs and requests through excellent verbal and written communication, dependability, reliability, timeliness and preparedness.
The Lead Technician will build, install and maintain the network infrastructure for our clients. The position requires timely and professional support of client networks and phone systems via onsite, remote and phone support as needed.
Palmer Technology Solutions (PTS) has been serving San Antonio since 1988. PTS fosters an environment that is both challenging and rewarding. We strive to create an atmosphere of team work that allows for personal growth and development.
Qualifications
Technical Experience
- MCP required, MCSE preferred
- 5+ years experience preferred
- Experience with building, installing and migrating servers on a Windows 2000 or 2003 Platform
- Exchange 2003 W/Mobile Implementations
- Network Security
- Telephony installations including VOIP
- Leading large technology implementation projects
- Be able to completely manage a network from Internet thru to the users including working with existing network administrators.
General Experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to develop and maintain a positive and professional business relationship with both internal and external customers
