DESCRIPTION Our customer, located in Syracuse is currently in need of a Technical Communications Lead for a 6-month contract.

The successful candidate will lead and manage the Technical Publications efforts for the Automation Systems (AS) business area in the Air Traffic Systems (ATS) organization. Responsibilities include writing, editing, illustrating, reviewing, and producing technical manuals, design documents, test reports, and other technical documents. The Lead will also direct the efforts of other writers for the AS projects, forecast resource needs, schedule documentation activities, and ensure that projects are completed within budget limits. The Lead will be the primary internal and external customer point-of-contact for all AS technical documentation activities and will be required to work closely with both the AS organization and its customers to define and develop technical documents for its systems.
