Lead Test Engineer

Responsible for testing of PeopleSoft application to ensure software fulfills the requirements. Constructs, manages, and maintains test plans, effectively outlining critical path and resource requirements. Manages the construction, maintenance, and reviews of all testing deliverables. Analyzes business requirements, functional specifications, use cases, and other available documentation to direct test engineers in their development and execution of detailed test cases. Lead also develops and executes detailed test cases. Provides expert troubleshooting of defects and information to development team for correction. Ensures defects identified during the testing process are thoroughly documented, tracked, reported, and re-tested when corrected. Works closely with testing manager to schedule and monitor daily testing activities. Provides and monitors quality control checkpoints throughout the application development lifecycle. Leads and implements improvements to current processes within the department. Mentors team members on structured and advanced testing techniques. Participates in providing performance feedback for team members and may have responsibilities for direct reports. May provide direction in supervisor?s absence.Required Skills

Must be an independent, self-starter who is able to effectively manage time with the ability to multi-task and work without close supervision.
Must be proficient and possess a minimum (3) years PeopleSoft Financials
Must be proficient and possess a minimum (3) years of consecutive/consistent software testing experience.
Must have a minimum of (3) years experience developing, writing, and executing comprehensive test cases that effectively and accurately test application functionality.
Must have a minimum of (3) years experience with strong knowledge of software development lifecycles.

Education
Bachelor?s degree from a four year college/university and five years of related experience OR equivalent years related experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

Candidates must meet or exceed all minimum criteria above.
