We are now searching for a Information Technology Manager of Applications Development.  The position will report to Senior IT Leadership and operate as a lead in designing, developing and implementing application and business architecture blueprint as well as providing guidance with aligning business processes, information management, applications and technical architectures to support the business strategy.

Core Responsibilities

? Manage the application development team to insure quality on time deliverables

? Support implementation of talent management processes for the application development team

? Develop a team structure that aligns development team with business deliverables

? Ensure solution development is aligned with business goals and architectural principles

? Lead business process and information architecture design activities

? Contribute to and help coordinate the efforts of the Technology Team

? Define and coordinate the activities of various architecture working groups

? Work with senior management to develop and manage architecture processes

? Develop and proactively manage the portfolio of application and technology initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

? 7+ years financial services industry experience with focus on technology architectures

? Bachelor?s degree or higher from a four-year college or university

? Strong knowledge and understanding of processes and technologies used in the securities industry

? Expertise in software application architectures and infrastructure technologies

? Previous success leading, coaching, and managing technology development teams

? Broad technology experience throughout systems development lifecycle

? Solid understanding of the investment management and wealth management industry

? Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills
