Level III Support Engineer - Networking

As a member of the Riverbed Technology team, you will be responsible for assisting customers and internal Riverbed employees when product issues occur. Troubleshooting complex networking issues is the key skill necessary for this position. This position can reside in either our Mountain View or San Francisco offices.

Requirements
Minimum of 5 years experience in a technical support position, preferably with a networking technology company. Deep knowledge of networking and storage. UNIX/Linux/MS platforms and other related areas Understanding and diagnosing packet traces is necessary. CCIE or equivalent experience needed WAN experience is key, SAN and NAS experience desired. Experience with networking protocols, such as http, smtp, rtsp, streaming media and experience in servers, caches and proxies is important. Strong communication skills with customers, as well as internal company groups.
