Job Description / Duties:
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the Linux world and how to adapt to upcoming changes. Ability to configure the latest hardware and Linux kernel into a test system. Will act as a liaison between other members of programming and technical services to test our applications. This candidate will be working with suppliers, so good communication is a must.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent. In depth knowledge of Linux kernel, preferably Suse distribution Strong emphasis on building and troubleshooting the kernel. Knowledge of disks and networks and their drivers Must be able to program in C, C++ FORTRAN Experience a plus Must have good communication and customer service skills Must have good problem solving skills Must have the legal right to live and work in the United States.
