The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

?Linux (RPM based distributions such as RHEL/Fedora/SuSE preferred)
?Perl, Shell scripting
?CVS or Subversion
?Workout monitoring requirements for new and existing projects
?Provide monitor support to our Network Operations Center

 

Qualifications:

?Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
?1 - 2 years experience as a Linux / UNIX Administrator or Developer
?Ability to write shell scripts to assist with automation of general task
?Ability to write SQL queries to generate reports on request
?Previous experience with SMARTS, Nagios, or IPMonitor a strong plus
?Previous 24x7 on-call experience preferred
?Ability to plan, document, and effectively implement projects and systems
?Must multi-task and work well under pressure
?Ability to work well under minimal supervision

 

Experience in the Following is a Plus:

?C/C++, Java, Python
?MySQL
?MS-SQL 2000/2005
?Windows administration experience
