Nature & Scope

Administrator for various Loan Accounting Systems including: McCracken/Strategy (for NCB's multifamily and commercial loans) and PCFS2000 Loan Manager (for NCB's SBA loans). Optimize system processing efficiency and accuracy of applications. Review, test and implement changes and enhancements to Loan Accounting systems, based on needs assessments and process flow. Responsible for internal user training programs. Manage internal IT department and software vendor liaison.

Responsibilities Include

1. Administrate Loan Accounting Systems:
Maintain complete knowledge of the loan accounting systems; identify issues ; perform testing of new releases, updates or new applications, considering implications to NCB processes and existing resources.
Maintain database to track all system problems/issues, from identification to resolution. Ensure efficient processing of all system applications.
Work with software vendors to correct issues; coordinate technical issues with IT department. Responsible for all system security.
Process internal loan file maintenance requests; identify root causes, offer viable solutions
Maintain system policies and procedures. 65%

2. Resolve user internal questions and issues. Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend solutions. Actively participate in NCB's internal loan accounting system user groups to identify and resolve system/user challenges. 20%

3. Identify training needs for users. Conduct regularly scheduled, and as needed training. 10%

4. Identify and/or have direct involvement in special projects related to loan accounting systems. 5%

Minimum Qualifications

This requires a BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or other related field. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in loan servicing or accounting operations with emphasis on loan accounting systems and an overall knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles. Applicants should have extensive knowledge and experience in McCracken/Strategy and PCFS2000.
