MICRO PROGRAMMER

Job Responsibilities

? Rapid development of small to medium size applications

? Responsible for all aspects of SDLC, including specification gathering, design, code, test, document, and rollout.

? Production Support of Excel, MSAccess, VB6 and VB.NET applications

? Provide Technical assistance to customers and application problem resolution

Required Skills

? Excellent oral and written communication skills

? Minimum 4 years application development experience with

o MS Access

o MS SQL 2000

o Excel

o VB6

o VB.NET

? Experience working with version control software such as VSS

? Experience developing queries and stored procedures using MS SQL Server

? Experience developing with Common Code and Class Objects

? Experience with VB Packaging

? Experience with DTS Packaging and query optimization

? Experience maintaining accurate task management details at all times

? Ability to work independently with minimum supervision

? Ability to learn new technologies and development methodologies

? Ability to work in fast pace environment

? Experience in all aspects of Systems Development Life Cycle

? Proactive approach to problem resolution

? Detail oriented and a team player

Optional Skills

? Experience in Manufacturing, Direct Mail Marketing, USPS Processing

? Experience with Web Development

Education Requirements

? Four-year college degree in management information systems or related field plus 3 - 5 years? experience with code development and systems analysis or equivalent
