JOB DESCRIPTION:
This job involves design and analysis of applications from client requirements. Key responsibilities include J2ME development, analysis and design of projects, team interaction, working to set deadlines, participation in code inspections and reviews. Be willing to work with formal specifications and critical deadlines, as well as tentative requirements or evolutionary development processes.

REQUIREMENTS:Computer Science Degree or equivalent industry experienceCandidates must have at least 2 years working with J2ME midlets and/or embedded Java (Personal Java) development experience. Essential expertise includes:Strong OO design experience.2D/3D rendering experienceProficient with MIDP 2.0/Nokia Series 60/Symbian UIQ development, and proven track record of delivering applications on mobile devices.Familiarity with telecommunications and messaging protocols such as; WAP, OTA, HTTPExperience with MMAPI (Mobile Media API), Mobile 3D graphics (JSR 184), JTWI, WMA (Wireless Messaging API)XMLHands-on experience with Design Patterns and UMLGaming industry experience a strong plusExperience in working and communicating with people from other cultures is a must as this role may require travel.Successful candidates will be comfortable with design and development software such as:EclipseAntCVSPersonal Attributes:Good communication skillsGood listening skillsProactive - uses initiative Strong attention to detailAbility to work within stringent timelinesExperience of porting applications would be an advantageous quality
